Nhận thấy đây là “cơ hội vàng” không thể bỏ lỡ, Bà Lan đã quyết định mở spa kinh doanh. Nghĩ là một chuyện nhưng khi bắt tay vào làm mới thấy phát sinh các vấn đề hơn những gì Bà dự tính rất nhiều. Cụ thể là Bà Ngọc Lan là người làm kinh doanh, không có kỹ năng làm nghề nên chỉ có thể giám sát và quản lý nhân viên. Sau 4 năm sóng gió liên tiếp cảm thấy không thể đứng vững được nữa do khi đó Bà còn quá trẻ chưa có kinh nghiệm nên việc kinh doanh gặp nhiều khó khăn, đỉnh điểm là đã có lúc Bà nghĩ đến ý định từ bỏ.
Nhưng vì đứa con tinh thần đã ấp ủ bấy lâu, vì đam mê và tình yêu với lĩnh vực spa đã thôi thúc Bà tự cho mình một cơ hội để nỗ lực, cố gắng. Lần này Bà đã dành thời gian để xem lại toàn bộ quá trình hoạt động, thay đổi góc nhìn, thay đổi tư duy, chiến lược kinh doanh. Trời không phụ lòng người, cuối cùng Bà đã đạt được nguyện vọng của mình khi việc làm ăn ngày một phát đạt, dần có tên tuổi trên bản đồ ngành làm đẹp Việt.

Vào ngày 25/09 vừa qua, tại CTM Palace số 131 Nguyễn Phong Sắc, Dịch Vọng Hậu, Cầu Giấy, Hà Nội đã diễn ra buổi lễ công bố Quyết định thành lập Khối chăm sóc sức khoẻ sắc đẹp & spa Thẩm mỹ Việt Nam và trao quyết định các chi hội chăm sóc sức khoẻ sắc đẹp toàn quốc. Theo đó, Khối sắc đẹp và spa thẩm mỹ – Vchea chính thức nhận quyết định thành lập khối với tên gọi đầy đủ là Khối chăm sóc sức khoẻ sắc đẹp và spa thẩm mỹ Việt Nam.
Qua buổi công bố, Bà. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Lan đã chính thức nhận quyết định trở thành Phó Chủ tịch thường trực Khối CSSKSĐ và Spa Thẩm mỹ Việt Nam. Tham gia vào Khối Chăm sóc sức khoẻ Sắc đẹp và Spa thẩm mỹ Việt Nam với cương vị Phó Chủ tịch, Bà Ngọc Lan hứa hẹn sẽ là một mảnh ghép tuyệt vời, giúp lan toả những giá trị tích cực, tạo thêm nhiều cơ hội để các thành viên trong khối nói riêng và trong lĩnh vực làm đẹp nói chung ngày càng phát triển thịnh vượng.
